The Policy of democratic students for the School of Health Sciences

Retake Exams and Lecture Recordings
Ensure that retake exams are available in all departments, with special emphasis on the Department of Psychology. Increase lecture recordings across all faculties.

Greater Flexibility in Studies for Pregnant Women
This is especially important in the Nursing program, where flexibility is currently limited and women are often advised to take a year off. We demand that the university support pregnant women and allow them to continue with the studies they are capable of and willing to pursue—for example, taking theoretical courses instead of practical ones around childbirth.

Classroom Issues
Classrooms in the Faculty of Medicine are overcrowded—too many students and rooms that are too small. Classes are also scattered across university buildings. There are only 10 minutes between classes, but it can take 20 minutes to walk between locations. A short-term solution could be subsidizing Hopp scooter rides between certain buildings. It would also be possible to implement an optimization model, which already exists, to ensure that classes are not scheduled in locations that are too far apart.
